Precoro is a cloud-based procurement management platform that centralizes and automates purchasing operations across decentralized organizations. The platform offers end-to-end functionality that enables finance and procurement teams to track, control, and optimize spending across projects, locations, and business units. It is designed to meet the needs of mid sized and enterprise organizations in industries such as biotechnology, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, retail, logistics, hospitality, telecommunications, and consumer packaged goods. The software addresses challenges related to visibility, policy compliance, and budget enforcement in complex purchasing environments. Precoro includes a modular procure-to-pay suite that begins with an intake management system. Customizable smart forms capture purchase and vendor data at the request stage by displaying only relevant fields based on document type. Users can submit requests via desktop or mobile interfaces and access approved items through internal catalogs or external supplier PunchOut integrations. A no-code approval engine routes documents according to configurable rules based on department, project, amount, or custom criteria. Notifications and deadline enforcement help maintain process flow and prevent approval bottlenecks. Purchase order management supports blanket, recurring, and service orders with instant conversion of approved requests and consolidation of multiple requests for volume opportunities. The accounts payable automation module employs AI-based optical character recognition to extract invoice data, execute three-way matching against orders and receipts, detect duplicates, and flag discrepancies for review.
