Q. What is Givebutter used for?

Givebutter is an all-in-one fundraising platform for student organizations, sports teams, companies, and nonprofits which offers the tools for collecting donations, running social peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, selling tickets to fundraising events, and more. The cloud-based platform offers three integrated products; Collect, Fundraise, and Event, which can be used individually or together within the Givebutter platform. Givebutter's fundraising platform is built on top of a self-service CRM dashboard, which is designed to help small groups to track and improve upon their fundraising efforts over time. Givebutter offers enterprise grade features and support to nonprofits, chapter-based orgs, and various groups with high-volume fundraising activity, and aims to help them provide donors, members, supporters, and advocates with an easy way to give. With the Collect module, users are able to accept donations, both one-off and recurring, via debit card, credit card, and Venmo. A custom widget can be created and embedded into the business website in order to accept donations, and custom donation amounts can be added to the widget to give donors a selection of options. The Fundraise solution within Givebutter offers tools for creating custom fundraising pages, collaborating on fundraising within teams, setting up fundraising goals and tracking progress, and more. Givebutter also facilitates the selling of tickets for fundraising events using the Events module, and users can set custom ticket prices, define ticket types, and have the option to encourage additional donations when selling tickets. Other Givebutter platform functionalities include custom receipts, permissions management, payouts, third party integrations through Zapier, trackable links, leaderboards for team members, and more.
