What is Zoho Backstage?

Zoho Backstage is an end-to-end event management solution that enables businesses to plan and run in-person, virtual, and hybrid event experiences from beginning to end. Teams can launch a fully branded and mobile-responsive website for the event, add the agenda, speaker information, social handles, as well as the organization’s event calendar so participants can learn about other events hosted throughout the year.

For hosting a regional event, managers can create multilingual websites to localize the experience. The built-in tools, such as affiliate tracker, social share options, discount codes, and promotional banners give the freedom to market on multiple platforms and grow the audience. The search engine-optimized event website also allows operators to gain visibility on search engines.

With OnAir, the virtual and hybrid events module, supervisors broadcast a virtual event in real-time with a host of engagement features, such as polling, Q&A, real-time chat, and emoji reactions. For hybrid events, operators can stream onsite sessions to online attendees and give virtual speakers an opportunity to meet with onsite attendees.

Stakeholders can also play pre-recorded content, share the screen, invite attendees to the stage, add handouts, and more. In addition to these, operators can host rehearsals with multiple test participants so that the speakers can get a better hang of the platform. When using Backstage, attendees can connect outside of sessions through discussion channels. These are essentially forums where attendees can come together to talk about various topics, reach out to organizers, and more. The discussion channels can be private or public and both organizers and attendees can create them.

Cannistrators can create networking rooms in Backstage OnAir for attendees, both onsite and online, to get together and have conversations on topics of mutual interest. With Backstage, operators can get access to both registration or sales analytics and session analytics. It includes a customizable session feedback form that teams can use to get attendees’ opinions on the session and speakers. While the reports are in-depth, employees can use the native integrations or create custom ones to get analytics related to your leads and website. Other features include sponsorship management, speaker management, virtual exhibitor management, email campaigns, team roles, custom forms, and options to handle data privacy requests.
