Sentry Email Defense Service (EDS) is a cloud-based platform that helps businesses ensure protection against spam, virus, phishing links, DDoS, ransomware, and various other threats. Features include real-time reporting, encryption, data leakage protection, SMTP logs, and email archiving.
The platform includes a multi-layered spam, virus and, content filtering engine, which helps administrators identify email-borne outbreaks through recurrent pattern detection (RPD) and zero-hour protection capabilities. IT supervisors can use the policy engine to set up and implement customizable rules. With its email report card feature, users can view the policy triggered and delivery log of emails.
Sentry EDS allows businesses to route emails to a different server based on predefined rules, detect hijacked systems, and protect IP addresses from getting blacklisted. It includes a MailRestore and Continuity module, which lets users store and recover emails in event of a mail server crash. End users can also receive spam quarantine reports (SQR) and adjust their delivery schedules.
