What is InboxGuard?
InboxGuard (formerly Retruster) is a cloud-based phishing protection solution designed to help small to large organizations identify fake and malicious codes in incoming emails. Key features include data security, ransomware protection, identity theft prevention, background screening, and threat tracking.
The application enables users to detect fake emails in the inbox by displaying warning messages with information such as threat source, address and domain name. InboxGuard lets supervisors analyze, as well as distinguish fake emails by checking the sender’s address, message content, signature type, and link destination site. InboxGuardalso helps network engineers monitor suspicious mail traffic to identify hackers accessing systems.
Administrators can use InboxGuard to track weak login credentials and send cautionary messages to employees for any illegal access across accounts, preventing data breaches in the process. Plus, the platform's dashboard allows administrators to identify high-risk users and assets across multiple departments by analyzing behaviors, authorized password usage, and account activities.
