What is SimWise 4D?
SimWise 4D is a CAD software that assists mechanical engineers with 3D dynamic motion simulation, element analysis, optimization within a virtual environment.
The application helps professionals simulate the rigid body dynamics of an assembly of components and identify stresses, part interferences and collision response produced by motion. Users can import geometry from native CAD systems and add structural and thermal specific entities to the model. It can also calculate stresses originated by changing loads and an assembly’s movements.
It offers integration with third-party CAD applications such as SOLIDWORKS, Solid Edge, CATIA, Autodesk, and more. The finite element analysis tool automatically performs stress, normal modes, buckling, and heat transfer analysis on mechanical parts.
